about

BIO

I'm a copywriter and digital communications consultant based between London and Paris, with over 12-years of experience working in the the social impact space and creative industries.

Focussing on the climate crisis, digital rights, and economic justice, I like to craft clear, direct copy and content that tells its own story while fitting into the broader comms goals of each project. I spend a lot of time thinking about the internet and digital technology as mediums and modes of social change.

My experience in campaigning and mobilisation, alongside my work as a writer and artist, helps to orient my perspective as a communicator around ideas of solidarity, community, and action.

Beyond my work I like to write and produce electronic music, play in live bands, direct short films, walk in nature, dance under cover of darkness, draft half-finished works of speculative fiction, jump on last-minute trains across Europe, and cook slightly-too-spicy Indian food.

CLIMATE CHANGE & SOCIAL IMPACT WORK

I've spent the majority of my career working with NGOs, startups, non-profits, and charities focused on climate change and progressive social issues. My areas of expertise include copywriting, comms management, content writing + design, sustainability writing, report writing, scriptwriting, campaigning + strategy, and media production.

I'm interested in climate justice, economic justice, and digital rights, and my clients include NGOs and nonprofit orgs such as Greenpeace, Global Witness, SumOfUs (now Ekō), the European Commission, and the Mozilla Foundation.

CREATIVE & WRITTEN WORK

Within my artistic practices I've worked as a creative writer, musician, filmmaker, composer, producer, and essayist. I'm interested in speculative futures, the philosophy of science, psychoanalysis, underground art cultures, workers' rights and social movements, architecture & design, and the interaction of technology, economics, and culture.

Clients and partners include Bleep.com, Paris Fashion Week, Matador Records, and The Museum of London.

I also have essay publications with Repeater Books, Punctum Books, and Zero Books, available to view via my portfolio page.
